January 17 2020, Theetge Chevrolet Buick GMC
The full-size truck segment includes a handful of serious options. One such option, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, was redesigned last year to provide not only better performance, but more comfort. The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is a truck that can handle the toughest towing tasks but that is also very comfortable and refined on the road. We can use it to tow our boat to the cottage, carry the kids to hockey or transport our snowmobiles and the Silverado will always live up to our expectations.
Available in several versions including the rugged Trail Boss models, the Silverado also offers several engines to adapt to your specific needs. A 2.7-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine develops 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque, enough power to tow easily with reasonable fuel economy. A 5.3-litre V8 engine developing 355 horsepower is also available, as is a 6.2-litre V8 engine with 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque that can tow up to 5,534 kg. Other engines available in the Silverado range include a 4.3-litre V6 as well as a powerful Duramax diesel engine that develops 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
Set up correctly, the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado will be able to tow up to 13,400 lbs or 6,078 kilos. Its payload capacity is set at 1,021 kilos or 2,250 lbs.
With eight versions, the Chevrolet Silverado is able to meet all your expectations. You can configure a truck to your image that will answer all of your needs. You will find an impressive list of functions and features in the Silverado 2020 range including the first electric tailgate in the Silverado High Country.
