What is the preferential plan?
Eligible employees may purchase, lease or finance a qualifying new Chevrolet, Buick or GMC vehicle at the GM * employee price.
Who is eligible for the preferential plan?
Canadian employees (all salaried and hourly employees as well as their spouses, excluding retired or contract employees) of companies eligible for the preferential plan.
What do I need to supply?
To qualify for the Preferred Plan, you must provide a valid authorization code from gmplanpreferentiel.ca and submit proof of employment (a letter from Human Resources or a recent pay stub).
Your company’s relationship with Chevrolet, Buick and GMC may get you access to the Preferred Pricing program. That means you could get Preferred Pricing on the purchase, lease or finance of eligible new Chevrolet, Buick or GMC vehicles! Purchase Information
1. How many vehicles am I able to purchase?
You may purchase, finance or lease up to two (2) new vehicles per calendar year.
2. Can I combine Preferred Pricing with our current offers?
Certain Chevrolet, Buick and GMC incentives can be combined with Preferred Pricing. Eligible incentives include most national and regional offers. You can redeem your Scotiabank® GM®* Visa®** Card Earnings – subject to GM Card program rules while also combining Preferred Pricing with the Canadian Forces Appreciation Discount, Mobility Program and/or Student Bonus. Visit your dealer for details on current offers, or find current offers on gm.ca.
Participant & Vehicle Eligibility
1. Who is eligible for Preferred Pricing?
Canadian employees (all active hourly and salaried staff and their spouse, not including contract or retired employees) of eligible Preferred Pricing companies.
2. Which vehicles are eligible?
Almost every new Chevrolet, Buick or GMC car, SUV, crossover, van and truck is eligible. However, some models/trims may not be eligible and other models may have limited availability.
Please contact the Customer Care Centre (1-800-263-3777) or your local participating dealer for the list of models/trims that are excluded from Preferred Pricing.
3. Are my family members eligible for Preferred Pricing?
The selected vehicle(s) must be titled and registered in the approved employee's or their spouse's name for personal use only.
4. How long do I keep the vehicle to be eligible for Preferred Pricing?
You must keep your vehicle for at least six months and 12,000 km.
5. I recentley bought a new Chevrolet, Buick or GMC vehicle. Can I still apply for Preferred Pricing?

Dealer Information
1. Can I recieve Preferred Pricing from any Chevrolet, Buick or GMC dealer?
This program is available only at participating Chevrolet, Buick or GMC dealers, so when you contact your local dealer, let them know you'd like to take advantage of Preferred Pricing.
2. Can I order a vehicle, rather than choosing one from my dealer's inventory?
Yes, you can receive Preferred Pricing when you order through a participating dealer.
3. What do I have to show my dealer to get Preferred Pricing?
To use Preferred Pricing, you will need to provide a valid authorization code from gmpreferredpricing.ca, as well as a letter from your Human Resources department or recent pay stub showing active employment, to a participating dealer.
Additional Options & Financing
1. Are dealer-installed options covered by Preferred Pricing?
No. Any additional dealer-installed options, conversion/upfit packages, General Motors Protection Plans and other extra-charge items will be supplied at a price agreed upon by you and your dealer.
2. Can I use a trade-in with this program?
Yes. Please speak to your local participating dealer for more information about trade-ins.
3. What are my purchasing options?
